After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, I started my career designing servo drives for industrial automation applications. I started into the medical device field with Respironics in Atlanta in 2001. I soon moved to their Pittsburgh location to support a product transition. This allowed me to return to school at the University of Pittsburgh to obtain my Master of Business Administration. I then had an opportunity to move into product and market management for Philips Children's Medical Ventures. In my next move, I spent 10 years at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare working with Respiratory products including CPAP, nebulizers, suction, and oxygen concentrators. I held product manager, Sr. Director, and VP roles. I took a chance with a small start-up organization two years as an executive VP of sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, and project management. At this stage of my career, I'm looking to help the world by utilizing my years of experience to support the development of medical devices.
